EVES recently celebrated one of its most special traditions, bringing together long-serving team members for the annual 10 Year Lunch at The Red Barn.

The event recognised 42 people from across the wider EVES business who have each reached the milestone of more than 10 years of continuous service.

For EVES, which has been part of the Bay of Plenty community for more than five decades, the occasion is about much more than recognising length of service. It is an opportunity to celebrate the people, relationships and experience that have helped shape the business over generations.

More than 13% of EVES people have been with the business for over 10 years, with 8% having reached more than 20 years of service.

EVES CEO Heath Young says the level of long-standing commitment across the business is something the company is incredibly proud of.

“Milestones like these are a powerful reminder that the strength of EVES has always been our people. To have so many people choose to spend more than 10 years of their careers with us is something we’re incredibly proud of. Their experience, loyalty and commitment have helped shape EVES into the business it is today, and it’s a real privilege to recognise and celebrate them.”

Having operated for 57 years, EVES has grown alongside the communities it serves, evolving from its early beginnings into one of the Bay of Plenty’s most enduring real estate businesses.

While much has changed over that time, the contribution of long-serving people across sales, property management and support roles has remained an important part of the EVES story.

The annual 10 Year Lunch provides an opportunity to acknowledge that contribution, reconnect with colleagues and celebrate the many individual careers that collectively form part of EVES’ history.

To each of the 42 people recognised this year, thank you for your dedication, loyalty and contribution to EVES - and congratulations on an incredible milestone.
