Lighting up Rotorua!
The 2025 Christmas Lights trail is officially lit! From 1st to 22nd December, 20 properties will be lighting up Rotorua, creating a magical atmosphere to celebrate the season. Each property will come alive with colour, creativity, and festive cheer between 7:30-10:30pm. This local tradition is all about spreading joy and celebrating the people who make our city shine bright.

Christmas Lights Trail
This year’s Christmas Lights Trail is set to shine brighter than ever. With 20 homes from across the city included, the festive spirit will be sparkling all season long. Here’s everything you need to know:

- Winners: Announced online on 23 December

PLUS – A Festive Night Market Takeover
On 11 December, EVES and The Hits will bring extra Christmas cheer to the Rotorua Night Market. Expect colour, energy and family fun, with The Hits team on site, interactive games, giveaways, and EVES’ signature Cornhole and photo frame moments. We'll be there from 5pm.
