Introducing Shane Pilmer
Originally from Auckland I met and married my wife, Julie-Ann, whilst serving together in the NZ Army. After 10 years service in the Army and completing my chefs’ apprenticeship, we moved to Whangarei to have a family.
Shortly after arriving in Northland I joined the NZ Police. Having now lived in Northland for over 30 years and having raised our three adult children here, I consider myself to be a Northlander, who is passionate about our community.
My transition to real estate after 28 years as a Police Officer serving the Northland community, was a natural choice, driven by my passion for helping people. I will bring the same honesty, integrity, professionalism and dedication that I brought to my career in policing, to help clients find their dream homes and make sound real estate investments. With a strong foundation in problem-solving, negotiation and attention to detail cultivated during my career as a detective, I am committed to guiding my clients through this process.
Outside of work, I spend as much time on the water as possible, fishing and diving, as well as spending time with family and friends. I love all sports and am an avid supporter of rugby and rugby league having played and coached rugby locally.
If you're looking for a real estate agent who brings dedication, problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of ethics to the table, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Together, we can turn your real estate dreams into reality.

Buying a house can be daunting. Shane made the process an easy one, from first showing through to the auction. Always attentive and informative he answered all our questions, returned calls promptly and understood our interests as well as the vendors'. Shane's calm demeanor is a welcome counter to the sometimes brash and pushy approach of some in the industry. It was a pleasure to work with him.
