David is from Hawke’s Bay, but a near 20-year career in real estate has seen him work from London to Waihi, where he has been since 2016.
After spending four years in commercial real estate in Auckland, David continued his career in London where he also acted as a leasing agent and advised and represented a wide range of clients from private developers and investors to corporate and government entities.
From 2007 to 2016 he was the Head of Agency and a shareholder in the New Zealand operation of a global real estate business managing a 23-strong sales and leasing team.
David says the most important thing he has learned in his career is that whether clients wants to buy or sell a multimillion dollar property or a $200,000 section, they want the same things - expert knowledge, sound advice, honesty, transparency, skill and a genuine commitment from the agency they select to get the job done.
David is passionate about his career, throws himself into new challenges and is always seeking to expand his knowledge and experience in property sales and marketing to provide added value to Eves clients.
He is a strong believer in careful planning, innovation, creativity and getting the all-important details right and says they are the keys to his team successfully achieving great results. David’s mantra is “do the right thing, do it well and do what you say you will do every time”. In short - be exceptional.
